Painting “Amah” & “Barber” Murals

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey of conceptualising, researching and finally painting my first Street Art “Amah” and “Barber”at Everton Road. I’m preparing to document the whole process and share the experience with a compilation of photographs and videos taken by my family, neighbours and friends who had given me great moral support during the two weeks of painting work under the hot sun and haze. The story should be ready in a week or so, so do come back again. Thank you again for your support!

Meanwhile, here are a few handy snaps:

On my last day at the site, while adding the finishing touches and signing off, a family came by and we chatted. Little did I know the man of the family is a blogger, an outstanding blogger! until we subsequently befriended on Facebook and I got to read his very touching blog of his visit to my street arts : Life’s Tiny Miracles

  • Dear Mr Yip,
Can i get your permission to use your works from Everton Road, Everton Park, and Changi ? We are from Cheng Cheng High School Main. We are using it as a photo essay in SDMA 2016. Do u think our topic should be ” worthy cause that deserves more publicity”, “a very unusual hobby/occupation” or “person/group of persons with extraordinary achievement”
Please give us your permission to use your work. Do email me your response as i was unable to find your email address.
    Thank you.
